About
Darlene Javier is a Filipino-American filmmaker born in New York City and raised in Astoria, Queens. Her debut feature film, America Adrift, was produced in collaboration with James Manos Jr. (creator of Showtime’s Dexter) and starred Lauren Luna Vélez (Dexter, How to Get Away with Murder), Tony Plana (Ugly Betty, The Punisher), Laura Gómez (Orange Is the New Black), Olga Merediz (The Place Beyond the Pines) and Davi Santos (Tell Me a Story).
She has worked with acclaimed photographer Patrik Andersson and screenwriter/producer Stan Zimmerman (The Golden Girls, Gilmore Girls). Currently, Darlene is actively producing commercial content for brands and fellow filmmakers.
Her experience spans across major industry pillars including Universal Music Group, Madison Square Garden, Worldwide Motion Picture Group, Deluxe Media, and Densely Hollow Films. She now works with Disney Entertainment and ESPN Technology, bringing her creative and production expertise into new digital frontiers.
